Who we are

Eyesonworks.eu gathers links to job ads of Dutch employment agencies in one place; we do not publish the ads ourselves. If you ask for it, verified companies can find you in our free candidate database. Contact: info@eyesonworks.eu.

Data controller

The controller of your personal data: Mark Simon (Eyesonworks.eu), Gorinchem, info@eyesonworks.eu. For privacy questions, a copy of your data or deletion, write to info@eyesonworks.eu. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Candidate database (only if you ask)

If you put your CV in the database with your consent, verified companies see it for one year without name, photo, birth year, nationality or contact details: job, region, experience, licences, languages, availability, whether you need housing and whether you may work without a permit.

Only a company whose request you accept gets your contact details (name, e-mail, phone). We log which company asked for contact.

After one year the profile is deleted (we e-mail you 14 days before; one click keeps it another year). You can withdraw consent any time by deleting the profile.

Legal basis: your consent. Joining is optional and makes no difference to searching: if you do not join, or delete your profile later, everything else stays the same.

What data we process

Account: e-mail address, an encrypted (one-way) version of your password, your language.

What you save: saved searches, saved jobs and groups, the list of jobs you opened this week.

CV: what you enter in the CV builder (including a photo if you add one). Only you see it and you can delete it any time.

Payments: card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them. We only store the Stripe customer ID and your subscription status.

AI search: the sentence you type is sent to the AI provider to turn it into filters. We keep the text for 14 days (to count your daily allowance) and then delete it.

Why and on what basis

Account, saved items, CV and subscription: needed to provide the service (performance of a contract).

Daily free allowance and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.

Payment records: kept because Dutch bookkeeping rules require it (legal obligation).

Who works with the data

netcup GmbH (server, Germany, EU) · Stripe (payments) · Anthropic (AI search: only the sentence you type; USA, under the EU standard contractual clauses) · Google Gemini (only translation of job titles, no personal data) · our e-mail provider (login links, alerts).

Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads): measuring visits and which of our ads bring visitors. Loaded only if you allow it in the cookie bar; not used for personalised ads. We do not sell data.

Cookies

Necessary cookies: eow_session (keeps you logged in), eow_lang, eow_aud (language and audience), eow_cmp (comparing), eow_gid (anonymous ID for free daily searches), eow_ck (your cookie choice).

Measuring cookies, only with your consent: _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics, up to 2 years) and _gcl_* (Google Ads, 90 days). Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw it any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.

How long we keep data

Account data as long as your account exists. AI search texts for 14 days. Payment records for 7 years (Dutch bookkeeping duty).

Your rights

You can ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your data and object to its use. You can delete your account any time: Account → Delete account. You can complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
